Bey’s Back!!

Wasn’t too long ago we heard Beyonce was pregnant.. Sexy mama lost her curves due to the pregnancy… Or so we thought. About a year ago, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter. Beyonce went on vacation with her family, and even gained a few pounds. But lookie what we got here. Momma’s back! And as sexy as ever. Beyonce for the man dem. (Beware, she’s married!) Body banging, you wouldn’t believe she was ever pregnant.

She was also featured in the article “The 100 Sexiest Women of the 21st Century”

Ladies, step aside, the Queen has returned. 🙂

The Introduction

SCARFACE is what they call me!

Haha, talk about an introduction. So basically I’m here to get you thinking and keep you talking. Being interested in A LOT of things, I have something for almost everyone; music, politics and well… Life.

I would prefer to stay anonymous which includes not stating my gender because I have come to realize that people choose who they will/will not listen to based on that. Which shouldn’t be but it is what it is so yea, call me Scarface.

That aside, let me re-introduce myself now as your very own music critique. You may like my opinion, you may not, but remember it is only an opinion and the goal is to get you to state yours too. I also inquire of you all to be as open minded as possible. To gain your trust, I should tell you that my opinions are objective and not biased. I do not let my emotions cloud my judgment so hopefully there’ll be no accusation of favoritism towards one artiste or the other.

You may ask what gives me the right to be a music critique, well anyone with good knowledge on any particular topic can be a critique on that topic. That said, I have been listening to music for over a decade. I grew up around music. My mom, my dad and my siblings all love music; it’s a family thing apparently. I listen to music when I’m cooking (guys cook too so don’t assume i’m female, haha), when I’m walking, reading, taking a shower… And well you get the point.
I will be critiquing music on lyrics, instrumentation, tone and vocals because these ‘to me’ make good music.

Life is not all fun and games – there are times we need to be serious and you know… discuss serious issues.
So lets talk Politics! A lot of people either don’t care about this topic, others have given up on it and some don’t even know what politics is about. Again, this here is more like a public forum; whatever category you fit into, if you have something to say, I would be glad to hear. Those that don’t know will be enlightened and Lord knows we need more enlightened people in the world today. Politics affects each and everyone of us directly or indirectly so if you would not be involved, it is wise that you at least know about it. For example, its unwise to just put your money in a bank without finding information about its interest rates and co.

Lastly, I would act as a social ‘critic’ not ‘critique’ (there’s a bit of a difference between the two). We would talk about the things wrong in our societies and share ideas that may help.

Personally, I think this will be a whole new blogging experience for you because hopefully each time you’d leave with something… Something good.

That’s it for now guys, as soon as I find a good slogan you’ll know but for now let’s go with ‘BE SAFE’

Africa’s king of R&B, Darey Art Alade, announced today that UK- returnee, Mo’Eazy has been signed on his label Soul Muzik.

The multiple award-winner says he first noticed the young rapper’s remarkable talent while working in London many years back.

“Mo’Eazy is a very talented artiste and I am happy he is the first artiste we’d be signing at Soul Muzik. I also like the fact that he is determined and hardworking, and we are committed to seeing that he achieves all that he sets to do’ Darey says

Kosoro, meaning ‘end of discussion’ in Yoruba is a feel good song, a fun filled track that celebrates the liberal spirit. Mo’ Eazy’s first official single from Soul Muzik reflects his infectious personality and swagger and pays no attention to haters of fun. This track gives you the time of your life and shows you how a real star starts a party. The song was produced by Soul Muzik, co-produced by Darey Art Alade and written by Mo’Eazy.

Since his return from the UK , Mo’ Eazy has performed at various events within and outside Nigeria. He released his first official single with Soul Muzik titled “Ko Soro” on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.

He says, “Coming back to Nigeria to continue music was a huge step for me but I am glad I took that step because I have met a lot of inspiring people along the way. Working with Darey and getting signed under Soul Muzik Records is a huge achievement for me because I am now working with a very experienced management. Work is already in progress as we are working on a couple of tracks already and I released my first single with Soul Muzik on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. A music video is also in the works so I must say I am pleased to be part of this team!”

Since signing with Soul Muzik, Mo’Eazy’s profile has risen tremendously. He has collaborated with major Nigerian artistes such as Darey, 2face and Modenine. He has already recorded over 25 tracks in Soul Muzik Studios in preparation for his yet untitled debut album. Without an album out in Nigeria, he has already played some of the biggest stages, such as the Calabar Carnival and Rhythm Unplugged sharing the stage with D’banj, P Square, 2face, Wizkid, Darey and a host of others.
There’s much promise for the rising star, as he continues to add to his growing fan base by connecting with new and old fans alike via social media as well as performing constantly at events across Nigeria and the rest of Africa.
