The icon we all know as DURELLA signed up to IKONIC records after his three year record deal with TC records expired earlier this year. Although this development is not new it is still relatively unknown.IKONIC Records which is owned and headed by Bada Aderibigbe Rasak closed the deal with Durella in February 2011 by signing a four-year contract with the pop act.
Speaking on how he got the new deal with Ikonic Records, the ‘King of the Zanga’ said ‘The C.E.O of the label is my childhood friend. We met sometime after I ended my contract with TC and decided to give it a go’.
Durella who recently released the video to his first single ‘My life’ is currently working on his second album and so far has two new singles – ‘Macmaraman’ and ‘Inbox’ out.
‘I just want to move on, it’s a new me. Lyrically, I’m bringing all the bazookas, the AK-47s. And I’m willing to work with anybody, upcoming or superstar. Hopefully his new label would give him better “push” as he hasnt been getting so much of that.
